Property Records Window
The Corrections Property Records Window is staffed regularly:
Monday through Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
If the window is staffed outside these regular hours, it will be closed during the following times:
2:00 a.m. – 3:30 a.m.
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Bonds and Fines Payments
Bond payments at the Winnebago County Jail must be made in person. Payments cannot be accepted online or by phone.
Requirements and Accepted Payment Types:
A valid photo ID is required.
Accepted payment methods:
Cashier’s checks
Credit or debit cards
Cash (exact change only)
Not accepted: Money orders
Fees:
No fee for cashier’s checks or cash.
Credit/debit card payments incur an 8.5% convenience fee from PayGOV.us.
The cardholder must be present when using a credit/debit card.
Work Release Unit
If you have been sentenced to jail and instructed by the court to report within 72 hours, you must contact the Work Release Unit (WRU) to schedule your report date.

Inmate Visitation
All visitation is video-only.
Visits must be scheduled through GettingOut.
Inmates are responsible for scheduling their own visits.
