Winnebago County Sheriff's Office Records Unit
The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office Records Unit handles requests for police reports and other records for which the Sheriff's Office is the records custodian.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WIDOT) is the records custodian for vehicle crash reports. Crash reports can be searched and requested from the WIDOT website at: https://crashreports.wi.gov/.
Please note that the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office remains the records custodian for information that may accompany a crash report, including narrative reports, photographs, and video recordings. Please continue to contact our office if you wish to request this information.
