Winnebago County Unified CART Team
What is CART? CART (Child Abduction Response Team) is a formalized multi-agency child abduction team that will respond to abducted, missing and endangered child cases in a timely and efficient manner.
The Winnebago CART will activate at the request of any Winnebago County law enforcement agency. Winnebago CART Team Members are authorized to assist in investigations of abduction or endangerment of children within Winnebago County upon the request of a participating law enforcement agency Chief Administrator (Sheriff, Chief of Police or his/her designee) and the approval of the Winnebago CART Coordinator(s).
