CAMPGROUNDS

Means a parcel or tract of land owned by a person, state, or local government that is designed, maintained, intended, or used for the purpose of providing campsites offered with or without charge, for temporary overnight sleeping accommodations.

Means a campground temporarily created to provide campsites in conjunction with a special event, such as a fair, rally, carnival, music festival, sporting event, community festival, or other similar event
Special Event Campground Guidelines
SPECIAL EVENT CAMPSITES
No more than 54 individual campsites are allowed per acre. Campsites shall have a minimum area of 800 square feet (20 x 40).
LICENSE REQUIRED
Before a person may operate a special event campground, the person shall have a permit issued by the department or its agent. The department or its agent may issue a permit for a special event campground only in conjunction with a special event, such as a fair, rally, carnival, music festival, sporting event, community festival, or other similar event. A permit issued may not exceed 14 days in duration.
